Europe has become so dear to me over the past few years. I have lost count of the number of times I have been in Europe and I have been to more than 25 European countries. This post has all the important travel tips for making your trip to Europe a memorable one.

I love the cobbled stone streets of Europe, the many cultural and historical sites of Europe, the endless number of things to do in Europe, eating some delicious vegetarian food and so much more.

Don't try to see all places in europe during your first visit

I have been to Europe countless times and I have still not managed to see even 10% of Europe. I know a 10-day Europe package to see Paris, Amsterdam and London may seem ideal. But that is such a wrong way to see Europe. I have been thrice to Paris and Amsterdam and 5 times to London and I still have so many places to visit during my European itinerary.

Which part of Europe should you visit?

I know a lot of people tend to visit only the famous cities of Western Europe and Central Europe. But some of my favorite cities in Europe are in Eastern Europe. Every part of Europe has its uniqueness and you have to visit them to find your favorites.

How much to budget for a trip to Europe?

This again depends on the part of Europe you are visiting. In some places in Eastern Europe, you can survive on 30 Euros a day while some require 100-150 euros for a comfortable stay.

How to get to Europe?

Most international operators fly daily to Europe from major US and Indian cities. I prefer Emirates and Lufthansa. Air France will always be one of my last options to fly to Europe.

Which City should I visit if I am traveling to Europe for the first time?

Most people stick to popular cities during their first time in Europe. But you should keep in mind that some of these cities are expensive and extremely crowded during peak season.

What is the best time to visit Europe?

One of the best things about Europe is that there is something to do during every season in Europe. I have been to Europe in every season but fall and spring seasons are my favorites.

Do I have to pay a tourist tax in europe?

Yes, in many accommodation places in Europe, it is common to be charged a tourist tax.

Which type of accommodation do you prefer?

You can choose different types of accommodation styles. I have done it all from staying in a 10-bed hostel dorm room to some of the most luxurious stays in Europe. I love staying in boutique hotels in Europe these days.

Visa rules differ for different European countries

Every European country has a different rule when it comes to visas for Indians. Fortunately, 26 countries belong to the Schengen state and many countries also allow us inside if we already have a Schengen visa.

What to pack for Europe

Europe has different seasons throughout the year and I have been to Europe during all seasons. Unless you pack right, your trip to Europe may be cold and miserable.

Is it safe to travel in Europe?

Yes, I have been to Europe multiple times solo and I have felt quite safe in Europe. I did get robbed in Madrid but that is something that could have happened in any part of the world.

How is public transportation in Europe?

I love public transportation in Europe. They are quite convenient in all cities. It may differ in some places but I love train travel in Europe and I love driving in Europe as well.

Is it easy to find vegetarian food in Europe?

The ease of finding vegetarian food differs from country to country. Most European main cities have tons of vegan and vegetarian food.

Do I need an international driving license to drive in Europe?

In most countries, you don't. But some countries require you to have an international driving license in addition to your ordinary license.

How do I go from one city in Europe to another?

Trains are one of the best ways to travel throughout Europe. Another good ad cheap option is bus and there are many operators like Flixbus etc to travel within Europe.

Do you love day trips in Europe?

Day trips are a great way to see Europe and I have done numerous day trips over the years in Europe.

Plan your own European itinerary

Lots of people do the mistake of enlisting the help of travel agencies to do their Europe trip planning. Even though there are advantages to this, it can get expensive. But if you don't like planning your own Europe trip, this is a comfortable option.

Is Europe eco friendly?

There are so many eco-friendly destinations in Europe and that is an added advantage.
